Focus Club for people with early onset/newly diagnosed with dementia

Yes, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Tonic Health and Joy Hallam have saved the previously named Square Hole Club Spalding from almost certain exstinction, and will be carrying the project on! With the group now at Tonic Health, the members decided on a new name - FOCUS - Friends Offering Care Understanding Support.

The group is led by Joy Hallam and Danie Crawley, who both have experience of working with people with dementia. A range of activities are provided throughout the day to keep the group physically and mentally stimulated. Lunch and regular refreshments are also provided to keep them in tip-top shape.

The FOCUS Club meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, running from 10am to 4pm.

For more information, and to apply for a place, please contact Joy Hallam at Tonic Health. We currently have a waiting list, and are exploring the posibiilty of setting up a second, so if you are interested in joining, or know someone who would like to attend, please let us know.
