Welcome to the official Safe Places webpage

Vanessa, the project co-ordinator for the past two years, has decided to focus on her own career projects and has resigned from her position.  The funding for her role came to an end and unfortunately we have been unsuccessful in securing enough funding to keep the position going.  Vanessa has also taken up the position as an NHS Governor for Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, so will be flying the flag for the NHS and representing the views of the South Holland residents.

The Safe Places Meeting Group will continue to run every Tuesday 4.30-6.30pm.  We look forward to seeing you there and witnessing the new formats we are proposing.

 1. A weekly Safe Place Meeting Group, every Tuesday, 430-630pm @ Tonic Health - a peer led group suitable for anyone with mental ill health. There will be a combination of activities and speakers with refreshments to keep you going! This is a drop-in group and is free to attend.

2. Safe Places Sunday Lunch, 12-2pm @ Tonic Health, on alternate Sundays. This is for anyone to come along to and have lunch together - ideal if you are lonely or isolated and don't have much company, which is especially noticeable over meal times. We will provide you with a 2-course meal. Those who are suffering financial hardship and regualrly attend the Tuesday meeting group will be issued with a token allowing them to eat free, courtesy of the Managed Care Network Funding. Those who are able to pay, the meal will be £6 per person, paid on the day. Booking in advance would be appreciated, so we know how many to cater for.
