Communities connected

The November 2024 edition of the Tonic Health Newsletter highlights the organisation’s recent community-focused events, emphasising its commitment to fostering connections and providing engaging activities for local residents.

One featured event, the Community Partnership Networking Event, occurred on October 15th at the Holbeach Hub. The gathering welcomed various community organisations to connect, share resources, and build partnerships. Organised by Tonic Health’s Community Connectors, Jo and Vanessa, the event included information sessions followed by a networking segment where each organisation hosted its stand. Attendees enjoyed complimentary scones and cream tea, which added a friendly touch to the occasion. This was the first event of its kind organised by Jo and Vanessa, and its success suggests it won’t be the last. Their hard work was widely appreciated, with Tonic Health staff congratulating them on a job well done.

In addition to networking events, Tonic Health also offers creative sessions for community members. A recent crafting workshop led by Chris at the Wellbeing Hub in Broadgate House was well-received by attendees. The session, part of an ongoing series, allowed participants to explore their artistic side and connect over shared creativity. The next crafting session is scheduled for Friday, November 8th, with registration details provided in the newsletter.

Through events like these, Tonic Health strengthens community ties and supports local wellbeing initiatives.
