Tonic Health Serves Up Success with Cooking Classes

April’s update brings sizzling news for culinary enthusiasts and novices alike at Tonic Health. Our community kitchen has been buzzing with activity, thanks to the overwhelming success of our cooking classes.

“Ready, steady, cook!” has become our rallying cry as we’ve seen a delicious uptick in participation. With the support of SHDC’s Household Support Fund and Multiply Fund, we’ve been able to extend these popular sessions to more members of our community in both Spalding and Holbeach. It’s not just about cooking; it’s about connecting over the shared experience of creating and enjoying meals together.

By the end of July, our tally will boast over 30 cookery sessions, each one leaving a trail of tantalising tastes and newfound friendships. The classes cater to different age groups:

  • For Youngsters (12-17 years): Every Tuesday from June 4th to July 16th, 4 pm – 6 pm.
  • For Adults: Every Thursday from April 16th to June 25th, 1 pm – 3 pm.

What’s cooking isn’t just food; it’s about learning cost-effective ways to eat healthily, gaining essential life skills, and enjoying a hearty meal post-class. The classes are complimentary, ensuring they are accessible to all who wish to join.

We’re turning up the heat on healthy living, one recipe at a time. So grab a spoon, don an apron, and come on down to Tonic Health. There’s a place at the table for you.
